Care Guide

All of our materials are natural materials that require good maintenance to keep their best shape.

LEATHER RECOMMANDATIONS

Leather is a material that evolves over time, which develops a patina. It can darken or lighten depending on the tanning processes it has received.

  • Do not leave the leather exposed to direct sunlight, the colors could eventually fade.

  • Be careful of splashes of perfume or water on the leather, which could leave stains.

  • In case of greasy stains, sprinkle them with “Terre de Sommières" powder.

For any additional information regarding the leather material, find it

in the “Savoir-Faire” tab or directly here

WOOD RECOMMANDATIONS

Wood is an organic material sensitive to humidity and UV rays from the sun. This has no effect on its mechanical resistance, only the aesthetics may be modified.

  • Do not put in the dishwasher, this could separate the wood assemblies and damage the leather/fabric/wood assemblies.

  • Do not let the products soak in water, this could cause the assemblies to separate.

  • In case of stains, rub with a soft sponge and rinse with lukewarm water. Wipe off excess with a lint-free cloth.

  • Maintain it with linseed oil and beeswax.

FABRIC RECOMMANDATIONS

Our fabrics have been carefully selected according to their supports and uses. Linen, with natural fibers, having hypoallergenic properties, or even alcantara, with its peach skin feel, resistant and soft.

• In case of stains, rub with a soft sponge, rinse with water and mild soap. Wipe off excess with a lint-free cloth.

• Blot up excess water with a cloth to avoid any detachment.

HARDWARE RECOMMANDATIONS

Silver is a material that can oxidize/blacken over time, particularly when in contact with perfume, cleaning or corrosive products, but also in contact with the pH of our skin.

  • Rub delicately using a chamois cloth or small soft-bristle brush, so as not to scratch the jewelry.

  • If your jewelry loses its shine: Soak the silver in a bowl of white vinegar for 2 hours, BE CAREFUL not to soak the leather part. Then rub delicately using a chamois or small brush with soft bristles, so as not to scratch the jewelry.

All our jewelry is made of 925 silver, complies with the European standard and has a “925” guarantee hallmark.

GLASS RECOMANDATIONS

Glass, a mineral material, as constant as it is fragile, requires precautions in its use in order to preserve all its shine.

  • Do not put the glass in contact with abrasive materials.

  • In case of stains, rub gently using a soft sponge.

  • To reduce light scratches, we recommend forming a paste using baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the scratched surface. Then, using a soft cloth, rub the scratches in circles: this will lightly polish the surface. Wipe off excess with a soft, clean, damp cloth.

  • You must accept that the glass will live and scratch.
